OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING UTPMEDIA'S FUTURE
Since UTPmedia was set up on 1st August 2011, we have managed to become one of the most followed unofficial Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Twitter account, garnering about 1400 followers at the time of this post.
However, as the pioneer members graduated from UTP and occupied with working life, the total number of contents have depleted as we struggled to find new apprentice to continue sharing the latest information of UTP.
Yesterday, we have conducted a closed-door meeting to discuss on the future of UTPmedia. We have considered a lot of options including closing UTPmedia account for good, ending a successful 18 months of service to UTP students, lecturers and alumnus.
However, we won't do that. So, we have mutually agreed that:-
UTPmedia is glad to announce that effective 2nd March 2013, UTPmedia will be run by a curator on weekly basis. The curator must be nominated by someone else who is either a UTP student, lecturer, staff or alumni. The nominated curator must be either a UTP student, lecturer, staff or alumni
